Neapolitan is the earliest pepper I've ever grown - perfect for northern climates. The fruits are 4" long and 2" wide. They ripen from yellow-green through orange to bright red at maturity. They have somewhat thin walls and a sweet, mild flavor. Stake the plants to keep the fruits off the ground. This Italian-American heirloom was introduced in 1904 by a New Jersey seed company.
California Wonder is the most popular bell pepper of all time. It produces large, sweet peppers that ripen from green to red. The thick-walled fruits grow to about 4" x 3.5". Perfect for stuffing. Resistant to Tobacco Mosaic Virus.

Cayenne Long Red Slim pepper is very hot at 40,000 Scoville Heat Units. The thin-walled peppers dry quickly. Also good for pickling and canning. The slightly curled fruits are 5-6" long and 1/2" thick. Productive and flavorful.

Hajduczek is the most productive pepper I've ever grown. It's also one of the tastiest. The large, blocky fruits have thick walls, and they ripen to a gorgeous dark red color.
