25 seeds $3.75
Echinacea tennesseensis 'Rocky Top' blooms from July to September. It has purplish-pink flowers with narrow petals. All of the flowers face toward the direction of the strongest sunlight.
Echinacea 'Rocky Top' is a vigorous grower that adapts well to a wide range of conditions. In my garden, it self sowed to make a large stand. It goes well with other large perennials and ornamental grasses. The long-stemmed flowers are good for cutting. It is drought tolerant and deer resistant.
Echinacea 'Rocky Top' is a cross between Echinacea purpurea and Echinacea tennesseensis. It was introduced by Jelitto Perennial Seeds in 2003. Also known as Echinacea tennesseensis 'Rocky Top Hybrids'. Hardy in zones 4-9.
