Watermelon 'Georgia Rattlesnake'
(90 days)
25 seeds $3.00
Georgia Rattlesnake has oblong fruits that weigh an average of 30 pounds. They have a beautiful rind with wavy, dark and light green stripes. The rosy-red flesh is sweet and crisp.
This wonderful American heirloom has been popular since the 1830's. We enjoyed growing and eating it. My favorite thing about Georgia Rattlesnake watermelon is the oblong shape, which makes is easy to slice.
Latin name: Citrullus lanatus
