Peacevine Cherry is our all-time favorite cherry tomato. The cherry-size fruits are sweet and tangy with a flavor that rivals a good full-size tomato. Very productive and crack-resistant. It is known for its high levels of vitamin C and a certain amino acid that relaxes the nervous system. Maybe it's my imagination, but I sure felt happy when I was eating these tomatoes in the garden!
If I could only grow one cherry tomato, this would be it. Occasionally, a plant may produce yellow or orange fruits, but all of mine were red.
Tomato 'Peacevine Cherry' is an open-pollinated version of Sweet 100. It was selected and developed by Alan Kapuler.
