HomeCherokee Green tomato has bright lime-green flesh with a delicious, sweet and tangy flavor. The medium-size fruits weigh 6-12 ounces. When I first saw it in my garden, I thought, "That is one ugly tomato." But after tasting it, I decided to grow it again the next year.
Tomato 'Cherokee Green' was discovered in Craig LeHoullier's garden in 1997 when he grew out some Cherokee Chocolate seeds that he obtained from Darrell Merrill.
