Tomato 'Brandywine OTV'
(80 days)
30 seeds $3.00
Brandywine OTV is a red tomato with an orange undertone. It is said to be the best Brandywine for the south. The large fruits average 12 ounces. They have good flavor, but I think the texture is a little mealy.
Brandywine OTV came from an accidental cross of Yellow Brandywine with an unknown red beefsteak. It was named for the heirloom tomato newsletter Off the Vine, produced by Dr. Carolyn Male and Craig LeHoullier. Potato-leaf foliage. Open-pollinated.
Sowing Brandywine OTV Tomato Seeds
Start tomato seeds indoors 8 weeks before the last frost date. Sow 1/8" deep. Transplant outside 1-2 weeks after the last frost date. Full sun. Spacing 30-36".
