Tomato 'Amish Paste'
(85 days)
30 seeds $3.00 coming in fall
Amish Paste tomato is a wonderful heirloom from the Amish community. It is good for both fresh eating and making sauce. It's one of the few paste types that ripens in our zone 5 garden. Very productive.
The meaty, teardrop-shaped fruits weigh 6-8 ounces and have an exceptionally good flavor - much better than your typical paste tomato!
Sowing Amish Paste Tomato Seeds
Start tomato seeds indoors 8 weeks before the last frost date. Sow 1/8" deep. Transplant outside 1-2 weeks after the last frost date. Full sun. Spacing 30-36".
