Thalictrum aquilegifolium is a beautiful plant for the shade garden. The fluffy flowers bloom from May to July in shades of pink, purple and white.
Columbine Meadow Rue gets its name from the shape of its leaves, which look like columbine plants. It is stunning when massed, but the individual plants are also very attractive.
Thalictrum aquilegifolium is a first-year flowering perennial. It can be grown in full sun if given moist (not wet) soil, but it is usually grown in part shade where it can tolerate a little more dryness.
Also known as French Meadow Rue and Thalictrum aquilegifolium 'Spiky Dots' and 'Fluffy'. Hardy in zones 3-9.
