HomeSweet Pea 'Bijou Mixed' is a semi-dwarf selection. The compact, bushy plants only grow to 16" tall. The sweetly fragrant flowers bloom in shades of pink, red, white, salmon, purple and lavender.
Sweet Pea 'Bijou Mix' is a good choice for containers, hanging baskets, and small garden spaces. You can prolong the bloom season by deadheading the old flowers before they go to seed.

Sowing Sweet Pea 'Bijou Mixed' Seeds
Start indoors or sow outdoors 8 weeks before the last frost date, 1/2" deep and 4" apart. In the south, sow in late fall. If starting in pots, move to a sheltered location outside when most of the seedlings appear (before the leaves unfurl). Bring indoors if temperatures drop below 20 degrees. Transplant to the garden 2-3 weeks before the last frost date. Full sun to part shade. All parts of the plants and seeds are poisonous.
