America sweet pea was introduced by Morse-Vaughan in 1896. It's still one of the best-selling antique sweet peas, which attests to its quality and appeal. It grows very well for us, even with our hot, dry summers.

Sowing America Sweet Pea Seeds
Nick sweet pea seeds and soak overnight. Sow outdoors in early spring, 1" deep and 3" apart. In the south, sow in late fall. Full sun to part shade.
