In my garden, I interplanted Salvia 'Coral Nymph' with Petunia axillaris 'Rainmaster' and Verbena bonariensis 'Lollipop' for a long-lasting display that attracted hummingbirds.
Salvia coccinea is hardy in zones 8-11. Grow as an annual elsewhere.
