Ipomoea leptophylla is a bushy perennial that is native to North America. It blooms in the summer with funnel-shaped, purplish-pink flowers that have darker throats.

Bush Morning Glory is drought-tolerant, preferring sandy soil. Also known as Manroot because it forms a large taproot, which can weigh up to 13 pounds. It doesn't transplant well, so give it a permanent location in full sun. Hardy in zones 5-11.
