Uzbek Golden is our favorite carrot for eating raw. It is crisp and juicy with a fine texture. It's softer than other carrots, so I can eat it with my TMJ jaw. The flavor is sweet and mild - no bitterness. Danvers type with medium-short, blunt roots.

Sowing Carrot 'Uzbek Golden' Seeds
Sow seeds outdoors 3-6 weeks before the last frost date in deeply worked soil. Sow on the surface, then cover lightly. Keep moist. Thin to 3" apart. Full sun.
