HomePulsar Pink carrot is a new open-pollinated variety with rose-pink skin and an orange core. The tapered roots grow 10" long. The tops are surprisingly strong, which can make harvesting easier.
There seems to be a trend in giving carrots space-age names like Cosmic Purple and Black Nebula. Pulsar Pink has a regular carrot flavor like most orange carrots.
Sowing Pulsar Pink Carrot Seeds
Sow seeds outdoors 3-6 weeks before the last frost date in deeply worked soil. Sow on the surface, then cover lightly. Keep moist. Thin to 3" apart. Full sun.
