This open-pollinated variety was released in 2005 by Dr. Philipp Simon of the USDA Agricultural Research Station in Madison, Wisconsin. Danvers type.
Sowing Carrot 'Cosmic Purple' Seeds
Sow seeds outdoors 3-6 weeks before the last frost date in deeply worked soil. Sow on the surface, then cover lightly. Keep moist. Thin to 3" apart. Full sun.
