House tomato has small, cherry-type fruits with just a slight tang. My daughter, Megan, owner of Megan's Heirloom Seeds, grows it year-round as a houseplant in an east-facing window. It produces in flushes and benefits from being cut back once or twice a year. The flavor is improved with fish-based, organic fertilizer. She uses water from her fish tank. 10-14" tall.
This heirloom tomato came from Curtis Androsoff, whose grandmother brought the seeds to Canada from Tbilsi, Russia in 1893. We obtained our original seeds from J.L. Hudson, Seedsman.
